UCL are you ready for an incredible end-of-year party?
For one day only we are bringing the UCL community together for a huge end of year celebration, taking place at one of London’s most exciting venues, EarthH Hackney!
Throughout the day there will be a host of activities for you to enjoy & participate in. Think workshops from the Tango society, cultural dance performances right through to UCL's finest DJ’s tearing it up and of course our three HUGE headline acts performing on the main stage.Â
The UCL Summer Festival aims to foster a sense of community and togetherness, with an emphasis on inclusivity and diversity. All are welcome to attend and encouraged to join in this huge celebration of UCL’s unique culture and community spirit.

đź‘•Dress Code
This year we’re leaving the black tie at home as we transform our campus into a one day music and arts festival and whilst you’re welcome to wear whatever you like, we’re definitely rocking the summer festival vibes!
🎟️Ticket Information
Due to the change of venue there are a very limited number of tickets remaining!
UCL Students can bring x1 guest and they must purchase their own ticket.
What is the summer Festival?
Our summer festival is a celebration of the end of the academic year taking place on Saturday 3 June between 18:00 - 00:00 at Earthh Hackney. It will include a range of activities including music performances, games and activities + immersive experiences.
How much are tickets?
Tickets are priced between ÂŁ20 - ÂŁ35. Alumni can attend, however there will be a ÂŁ10 surcharge for Alumni tickets. Those attending with a carer will receive an additional Carers ticket at no extra cost.
What is the refund policy?
Our summer festival is an over 18 event. Any tickets purchased by anyone under that age are neither valid nor eligible for a refund. Once any ticket has been purchased, it will only be changed or refunded in the case of cancellation.
In that case, the purchaser can apply for a refund in a period no longer than thirty days from the date of the public announcement of the cancellation.
While every effort is made to ensure that all billed acts perform, UCL reserves the right to change the bill without prior notification.
Bad weather & natural disasters will not lead to ticket refunds.
The purchase of a ticket for our Summer Festival is for the event itself and not for a specific artist and no refund will be offered in the event of artist cancellations.Â
Can I bring a non UCL guest?
Yes each guest can bring one non UCL guest and they must purchase their own ticket for entry!
Is there disabled access?
Yes the festival site is fully accessible.Â
If I need assistance can a carer enter for free:?
Yes!
Are alumni allowed to attend?
Yes there will be a limited number of tickets available for UCL alumni.
Will there be food and drink available at the festival?
Yes there will be food and refreshment options available on site.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Your own food and drink is not permitted, however you can bring a refillable water bottle which is empty upon entry.Â
Beside food and drink what on site facilities are available?
Box Office - If you are collecting tickets or have any ticketing queries, please visit our on-site Box Office, which is open from 11:00 to 21:00.
Toilets - Toilets including accessible toilets, are located throughout the site and clearly signposted.
Welfare and First Aid - There is Welfare and First Aid provision on site. Services are open during event hours and all visits are logged and recorded. If you need to store medicine, you can store it in the fridge at the Welfare Tent.
Lost property - Lost Property is also handled at the Welfare Tent. Please head there and speak to our Lost Property Manager if you have lost or found an item.
Free drinking water - There are free drinking water points available throughout the event. We encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottle to refill at these points.
Recycling bins - In an effort to reduce the use of plastic at our event, there is a ban on the sale of all single-use plastic bottles on site. You can find recycling bins, alongside general waste bins, placed at regular intervals at the venue.
Cash points - There are no cash points available on site. The festival is a cashless event and accepts card payments only.
Is readmittance permitted?
No, once you have entered the festival site you can not be readmitted.
Will there be security checks?
Yes there will be a security check upon entry and we will have a security team operating within the festival site.Â
Are bags permitted?
To make your entry to the site as seamless as possible, we recommend that you don’t bring a bag. However, you can bring a bag up to 45cm x 36cm x 20cm in size if necessary. No suitcases or large bags will be permitted. There are no cloakroom or locker facilities on site.
The following are considered dangerous and are not permitted. Our security team reserve the right to confiscate prohibited items, including:
Drones
Glass in any form (including perfume bottles)
Cans or metal containers
Spray cans, gas canisters or compressed gas in any container
Containers of glitter
Fireworks, flares, smoke canisters, Chinese lanterns
Camping stoves or cooking apparatus, explosives
Handheld communication devices such as radios, radio jammers/scanners
Firearms, knives or blades, replica weapons of any sort
Umbrellas
Balloons
Stools/camping sticks/chairs or other furniture
Gazebos or parasols
Sports equipment
Flags and banners
Megaphones, amplification equipment
Klaxons, airhorns or other similar items capable of making loud noise
Laser pens
Scooters, skateboards, bicycles, trolleys
Any other item which security may deem hazardous
Is there an after party?
Yes we exploring the possibility of an after party, full details will be released at a later date!
